St. Patrick’s Day
Each year St. Patrick’s Day, 17 March, is celebrated around the world. It’s a celebration of what it means to be Irish – our culture, our heritage, our people.
St. Patrick’s Day is a global celebration of what it means to be Irish; the spirit, the determination, the creativity and the indefinable something that makes us who we are.
On the occasion of St.Patrick’s Day, the Embassy usually hosts an official reception, but there are some less official celebrations too – such as the now-annual greening of the River Vilnele in Vilnius!
