Official opening of the Embassy of Ireland in Bangkok

Ireland and Thailand have had diplomatic links for 42 years. In recent decades, business links between two countries have continued to develop and a vibrant Irish business community has grown in Thailand. There are approximately 65,000 Irish tourists visiting Thailand every year.

Our mission is to encourage trade, embark on educational cooperation and strengthen cultural ties and mutual understandings between Irish and Thais.

The establishment of the Irish embassy in Thailand is a clear indication of the commitment of the Government and people of Ireland to a new deepening of relations with the Kingdom of Thailand.
