Bloomsday Brunch at the Embassy of Ireland

20 May 2019Bloomsday is a commemoration and celebration of the life of Irish writer James Joyce, during which the events of his novel Ulysses (which is set on 16 June 1904; the hero of the novel is Leopold Bloom) are relived. Bloomsday has been observed annually in Dublin since 1924 and is now celebrated all over the world.
The Embassy of Ireland is delighted to host the second Bloomsday Brunch organised by the Association Femmes d’Europe Irish Group, which will consist of brunch (Irish breakfast), together with readings and music from Joyce.
