During the on-going coronavirus (Covid-19) public health situation, the Consulates General of Ireland in Los Angeles and San Francisco strongly encourage Irish citizens in the Western USA consular region to pay close attention to federal, state and local public health authorities for up-to-date information and advice.
Website and social media information for relevant federal, state and city / county public health authorities are listed below for your convenience. This is not an exhaustive list but does include the relevant federal authority, all State level authorities in the Western USA consular area and cities / counties in the region where there is a known high density of Irish citizens.
For Federal level guidance, please refer to the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) website. This website also includes information on travel restrictions to the US.

Follow medical advice to protect yourself from COVID-19 Be alert to common signs of infection: respiratory problems, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. Seek medical advice if you experience these symptoms.
