NOTICE of Consulate's public office closure

The Mayor of the City and County of San Francisco, London Breed, issued a ‘Shelter in Place’ Order effective from midnight on Tuesday 17 March. Similar orders are in place across the six counties of the Bay Area.
The Consulate’s public office is closed for the duration of this Order.
During this period normal consular services (passport renewal, visa applications, working holiday agreement etc.) will not be available except in cases of genuine emergency. Please note that most Irish Passports can now be renewed online at https://www.dfa.ie/passportonline/.

The mailbox and answering machine are both monitored regularly and an officer will contact you as soon as possible.
