Irish athletes competing in Slovenia

Slovenia and Ireland share many perspectives and interests. One of these is a passion for sport, including water sports.
At the end of August 2018, Noel Hendrick, Oisín Farrell, Séan Ansell and Eoin Moorhouse flew the flag at World Cup Wild Water Slalom Kayak/Canoe event at Tacen, Slovenia. The Ambassador and other supporters from Ireland cheered them along. In some very challenging conditions, they did us proud. There was also a large contingent from Ireland participating at the the European Masters Championship 2018 which is took place 2-7 September in Kranj, Slovenia. They returned to Ireland with quite a collection of medals. Well done and congratulations to all concerned.
