Spoken Word event with Neil McCarthy

The Embassy is supporting a poetry event in Trubarjeva Hiša Litarature on 13 April at 20:00
The event will feature Neil McCarthy’s Spoken Word performance, which includes poems from his latest collection, ‘Stopgap Grace’. After his performance, Neil will discuss aspects of Irish and Slovene poetry and migration (a theme in Neil’s poems) with Veronika Dintinjana, a Slovenian author and translator. The event will also feature Irish music performed by local band Noreia (Anej Ivanuša: flute, tin whistle; Ana Novak: violin and Gašper Šinkovec: guitar, accordion).
